After a few pop-ups around town and at local summer markets, Shizen Cafe opened it’s permanent home on the main street of Nozawa here in January 2023.

Shizen Cafe is a space for like-minded locals, lovers and travellers to slow down, connect and be nourished with whole-foods, good connections and a cozy atmosphere.

Inspired by time on the slopes in Nozawa, the yogi lifestyle and Melbourne and Bali’s vibrant cafe scenes, Shizen cafe uses local and imported ingredients to offer a varied menu to satisfy and nourish all.

Whether you’re preparing for or winding down from a big day on the slopes (or perhaps you’re in town for the onsens) Shizen offers a delicious, wholesome and varied menu to nourish your body, mind and taste buds.

*Groups of 5 or more it’s best to contact us to reserve one of our large tables for you. 

A bit floaty by nature, we always leave space for walk-ins so please come and join us.
